Social networking is the first class I have taken in CUHK. And I created a new blog because of this course. It is quite sarcasm, because long time ago I used to consider to writing something, maybe a blog or etc. But I have never pushed myself to achieve this idea, till now.
Before the lecture, I have already known that social networking on the internet has become part of our life. Having learnt these lectures, I figure out something more deeply behind this phenomenon. Here I want to, from my perspective talk about some good or bad effects of some social behaviors on the internet, and how to avoid the bad effects.
Advantages:
It goes without saying that our life have been changed dramatically by Web2.0, more convenient, more diversified, wider perspectives…
1.With web2.0, people not only get what the internet offer them, but also can get what they really want to know by putting forward a question on internet and waiting for someone to give a solution, sometimes maybe not just one solution, for example, the websites like prizes.org, zhidao.baidu.com.
2. With web2.0, people can update some news or information to help others get the first-hand information and to do others a favor.
3.Because of the easy nature of these tools, people can write something about themselves, such as some little interesting stories they read or what happen to them. This may not qualify them to be famous to the world, but may let them to own some readers of their own, thus to make them truly become part of the internet. Just like Twitter, Facebook, and this Blog do.
Disadvantages:
When the web2.0 first appeared, we have already foreseen that it would brought about some bad effects that never happened before.
1.Sometimes people will work hard to expose some affairs to make some online tools scary because this is not something friendly. Several years ago, there was an event involving the Kryptonite Lock. It’s about a blogger talk about how to hack or break into a kryptonite lock using a ballpoint pen and it spread all over, which forced Kryptonite to adjust the lock and address it to avoid too many customers concerns.
2. Web2.0 provide opportunities to people to spread something such as videos, compositions belonging to others, particular some artists, musicians who cares this a lot. Then, here come the problems about copyrights.
Thinking：
It’s not hard to see in those cases that on the social networking in the future there are still a lot things to do by the public websites and people using them.

回复删除It is obvious that the social networking changes our life to a more wonderful level and it's convenient to our life from many aspects.
However, the advantages and defaults come out at the same time. Much information bad for the society is spread through the Internet rapidly. And the number of crime based on the Internet is increasing.
So the society needs us. We have the duty to protect the Internet from the bad cases and guide the social networking to go to the right and healthy direction.
